Its an enjoyable book and not tough going. I'm not sure I'd say these
drinks "changed the world", but they in their heydays [sic] certainly had
a significant impact. Or is that just a different way of saying the same
thing?

Yes, it's just Academic Pettifoggery & Meretricious Nuance -- Ergo
Weaseling.

John Kerry would refer to it as a "Nuanced Position" and lose the Election.

Just finished reading an interesting book with above title...
Essentially that six drinks changed world history: Beer, Wine, Spirits,
Tea, Coffee and Coca-Cola...

Well seeing as he supported the war in Iraq perhaps losing the election was
the better option.

I mean, who wants to go down in history as the man who lost this war...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.
